Applicability:  Math Teachers

Math should not be one size fits all.  Our planning needs to advance students at their own pace while holding them accountable to the standards.
Join me to see how how my plan allowed me more focused time with students need or want it while students with advanced skills were pushed even further ahead.  You will have the opportunity identify where differentiation and self-monitoring live in your classroom.

Outcomes:
-integrate one strategy for including differentiation into an upcoming unit plan.
-integrate one student by-in strategy into an upcoming unit plan.

Materials:   laptop, artifact of differentiation/student choice from your classroom.

Indicators:
3.2A – Facilitates lesson: Lesson Structure
3.4C – Monitoring student learning during instruction: Self-monitoring
